Artist Profile - Dana Walker

Dana Walker is a San Diego local abstract artist. She was born and raised in Highland, California, but moved to San Diego after high school to attend the Design Institute of San Diego where she received her BFA in interior design. Her love for design set the foundation for what soon became her love of the arts. Along with art, her love for people and building relationships expanded in her many years in the food and beverage industry where she worked during and after college. This industry gifted her the time to hone in on her own artistic skills and passion for the arts. 

Along with her passion for painting, her love for yoga grew as well. The teachings of yoga and of the divine feminine energy that lives within all of us has drastically changed Dana’s internal world. Finding herself on a spiritual and artistic path, as a self proclaimed eternal student, she has shifted from the life she was living into the life she had always dreamed of.
